Litter Picks

Getting involved in a litter pick is a rewarding way to contribute to the community and the environment.

Participants gather at a designated location, equipped with gloves and bags, ready to clear up litter from streets, parks, or beaches. This collective effort not only enhances the local landscape but also fosters a sense of camaraderie among volunteers. By taking part, individuals raise awareness about the importance of keeping public spaces clean and encourage others to be more mindful of their waste. Ultimately, litter picking serves as a practical solution to reducing pollution while promoting a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone.

1. You can register a litter pick on the same day if you are simply recording your activity and do not need equipment or waste collection.

2. If you would like the litter collected but do not need to borrow equipment, you can register 2 working days before your pick.

3. If you would like to borrow equipment, you will need to register 7 days in advance. This ensures everything arrives at your chosen Biffa depot in time.
