About Us

Clean Cornwall is an environmental project that has been working with communities for more than 15 years to tackle the issue of litter and waste in Cornwall.

With the support of Biffa and Cornwall Council, we can provide free litter picking equipment for your litter pick and have the litter collected post-pick. Along with other benefits such as public liability insurance, this service has allowed more than 5418 volunteers to organise and conduct more than 400 litter picks in 2025 alone, removing more than 2554 bags of litter (if 100% recorded their data that would equate to 4481 bags collected) from our environment.

For each pound that is invested in Clean Cornwall, we return a social economic value of £6.86 and our services help thousands of volunteers each year to get outside, get active, socialise and make a difference to their local area. Litter picking opportunities have an undoubtedly positive effect on volunteers’ mental health, physical health and general wellbeing. Regular litter picking groups across Cornwall have helped to strengthen Cornish communities and have provided vital social opportunities in rurally isolated  areas.

We also provide free educational workshops, opportunities for collaboration, a growing sustainable business network and regularly run environmental campaigns.
