Clean Cornwall visits Beach Guardian HQ
01.02.26
It was a real pleasure to visit Beach Guardian's headquarters in Padstow this week and see first-hand the incredible work their team is doing to tackle litter and protect Cornwall's coastline.
During the visit, we met with co-founder Rob and had the opportunity to learn more about Beach Guardian's education programmes, community initiatives and ongoing efforts to inspire positive environmental action across Cornwall.
We were also pleased to collect a generous donation of 50 litter pickers, which will help support the launch of our new Pubs as Hubs initiative. The litter pickers will be included in equipment kits that are being distributed to pubs and community venues across Cornwall, making it easier for local people to borrow equipment and organise litter picks in their own areas.
Partnerships like this play an important role in helping communities take practical action. By working together and sharing resources, we can support more volunteers, reach more locations and make it easier for people to care for the places they live, work and visit.
A huge thank you to Rob, Emily and everyone at Beach Guardian for their support. We look forward to continuing to work together to help keep Cornwall clean and cared for.
