Guidance from 8th March 2021According to the roadmap, from the 8th March, people will be allowed to leave home for recreation and exercise outdoors with their household or support bubble, or with one person from outside their household. In line with this guidance, from the 8th March, Clean Cornwall is happy to once again support litter picking activities carried out alone, with members of your household (or support bubble), or with one other person from a different household. We can offer waste removal but no equipment or public liability insurance.
Guidance from 29th March 2021According to the roadmap, from 29th March, outdoor gatherings of up to six people (the rule of six) or two households will be allowed. In line with this guidance, from the 29th March, we are happy to once again support litter picking activity in small groups of up to six volunteers, or two households. The existing hygiene and social distancing measures should continue to be followed. We can offer waste removal but no equipment or public liability insurance.
Guidance from 21st June 2021From the 21st June, the government hopes to be in a position to remove all legal limits on social contact.Therefore, we will be able to support organised social litter picks and beach cleans of large groups. At this stage we can also offer our full service of public liability insurance and the loan of litter picking equipment thanks to our partners Cornwall Council and BIFFA.
